Simon is a Company Director, governance consultant and former Chief Executive of the Institute of Directors NZ. He is a Chartered Company Secretary and Fellow of Governance New Zealand. Simon is a director of a digital risk consulting company and a private family company. He is a former chair of the Cancer Society of Wellington and the Junk Free June Ltd charity.

Simon has advised Boards and Directors on a wide range of performance and governance matters and re-authored New Zealand’s Four Pillars of Governance Best Practice Guide in 2012. In 2013 he established the Governance Leadership Centre at the Institute of Directors. He is a regular commentator on governance issues in business media.

Anne is a multi-dimensional professional – she is a nurse, entrepreneur, business woman, mentor, company director, governance consultant, and campaigner for the rights of women and children. Anne is renown as a change agent and is passionate about leading and guiding organisations to embrace change by empowering people to make a difference.

Anne was a facilitator for the AICD for 18 years; is currently chair for Principals Australia Institute Ltd; Chair of RDNS Group; Director for Plan International and Director for People’s Choice Credit Union.

Elizabeth is a Managing Director and Principle Consultant with a great depth of knowledge and experience. Elizabeth was a practicing corporate and commercial lawyer for almost 15 years and now brings an additional 10 years of Directorship experience to the table. Elizabeth founded Board Matters, and its associated governance legal practice Board Matters Legal, heading up a team of specialist governance, legal and strategy consultants.

Elizabeth has been an AICD course facilitator since 2004; Managing Director of Board Matters; Chair of Brisbane Girls Grammar School; Director at RACQ; and Chair of QLD Theatre Company.

Sam is currently Managing Director of Simplicity, a KiwiSaver default provider. Prior to this Sam was CEO Of Tower Investments, a KiwiSaver default provider, Managing Director of Hanover Group, and spent 10 years working for Goldman Sachs in London and Hong Kong. He previously worked for Natwest Markets, Fay, Richwhite and IBM New Zealand.

He has been a Board Member of the Financial Services Council, and a member of the Government Taskforce on Financial Services.

As well as working as a strategy and planning manager for Telstra, Gaya currently works as a consultant alongside Australian businesses that export or invest in Asia. Gaya has strong experience in developing partnerships and sponsorships in the not-for-profit sector and understands the importance of strong leadership. Gaya is a strategy professional with a keen interest in diversity.

Gaya is a Non Executive Director for the Royal Women’s Hospital; Advisory Board Member of Sinclair and May and Advisory Board Member of Future Directors.

Henry has spent his career working in accountancy and finance.  He has extensive experience in consulting  and has presented numerous financial management workshops for executives.  Henry’s expertise covers financial management, financial planning and feasibility studies.

His current Directorships include Medical Insurance Australia Pty Ltd, an APRA regulated insurer providing professional indemnity insurance to doctors in Australia, and he is Chairman of CPR Pharma Services Pty Ltd, a private equity funded contract research organisation.  He is also a Director of Higgins Botha.

Henry has delivered training programs in Bangkok for the Thai Institute of Directors; lectured in Singapore for the University of Adelaide, Graduate School of Management; and lectured in Beijing for a forum of local company directors.  He also lectures for the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Melbourne Business School.
